My delivery just arrived. What do I do and how do I manage stock between orders?
Pouches go straight into the freezer. The rule of three keeps everything safe.
When your delivery arrives, put the pouches straight into the freezer at -18°C. The storage rule of three applies: frozen for up to 3 months, thawed in the fridge for up to 3 days, and any uneaten food discarded after 30 to 45 minutes at room temperature.
To manage stock between orders, move only what you need for the next day or two into the fridge to thaw, and use your oldest pouches first.
Going away? Leave clearly portioned, labelled pouches with a pet sitter alongside a note on the rule of three. Do not refreeze food once it has been thawed.
