[Gentle Turkey](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#gentle-turkey) # Why is Gentle Turkey a good choice for dogs with protein allergies? ## Novel proteins with a gentle, simple ingredient list Camel and turkey are both novel proteins. Most dogs with food allergies have developed them to common proteins such as chicken, beef or lamb through repeated exposure. Because camel and turkey are rarely found in everyday dog food, the immune system is less likely to recognise and react to them. Gentle Turkey also uses a simple ingredient list with gentle vegetables, reducing the overall number of potential triggers. It is not suitable for dogs on a strict single-protein elimination diet, but it is one of the less reactive options in the topper range. - [General](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/general?hsLang=en-ae#main-content) - [Frequently Asked Questions](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/general?hsLang=en-ae#frequently-asked-questions) - [Our Mission](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/general?hsLang=en-ae#our-mission) - [How to Start](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/how-to-start?hsLang=en-ae) - [Feeding Guidelines](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/feeding-guidelines?hsLang=en-ae) - [Subscription Plans](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/subscription-plans?hsLang=en-ae) - [Storage and Handling](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/storage-and-handling?hsLang=en-ae) - [Orders & Deliveries](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/orders-deliveries?hsLang=en-ae#main-content) - [Delivery Information](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/orders-deliveries?hsLang=en-ae#delivery-information) - [Gift a Meal](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/gift-a-meal?hsLang=en-ae) - [Wunderdog](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wunderdog?hsLang=en-ae#main-content) - [Turkey with Honey](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wunderdog?hsLang=en-ae#turkey-with-honey) - [Lamb with Apple](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wunderdog?hsLang=en-ae#lamb-with-apple) - [Camel with Dates](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wunderdog?hsLang=en-ae#camel-with-dates) - [Wundercat](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#main-content) - [Product and Ingredients](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#product-and-ingredients) - [Palatability and Acceptance](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#palatability-and-acceptance) - [Safety and Handling](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#safety-and-handling) - [Getting Started](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#getting-started) - [Orders and Delivery](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#orders-and-delivery) - [Company and Trust](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#company-and-trust) - [Storage and Handling](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#storage-and-handling) - [Nutrition and Health](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#nutrition-and-health) - [Feeding and Transition](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#feeding-and-transition) - [Ingredients and Sourcing](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercat?hsLang=en-ae#ingredients-and-sourcing) - [Wundercare](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercare?hsLang=en-ae#main-content) - [Wundercare+Digestive](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercare?hsLang=en-ae#wundercaredigestive) - [Wundercare+Heart](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercare?hsLang=en-ae#wundercareheart) - [Wundercare+Kidney](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercare?hsLang=en-ae#wundercarekidney) - [Wundercare+Pancreas](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercare?hsLang=en-ae#wundercarepancreas) - [Wundercare+Liver](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/wundercare?hsLang=en-ae#wundercareliver) - [Toppers](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#main-content) - [General](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#general) - [Berry Turkey](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#berry-turkey) - [Hydrohund](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#hydrohund) - [Super Green Turkey](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#super-green-turkey) - [Pumpkin Puree](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#pumpkin-puree) - [Gentle Turkey](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#gentle-turkey) - [Camel Bone Broth](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#camel-bone-broth) - [Bundles](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#bundles) - [Colour My Plate Pack](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#colour-my-plate-pack) - [Lets Detox Pack](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#lets-detox-pack) - [Summer Pack](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#summer-pack) - [My Tummy Hurts Pack](https://knowledge.mywunderdog.com/toppers?hsLang=en-ae#my-tummy-hurts-pack)
