Grape Seed Flour is a fine powder derived from grape seeds after pressing. It is used in this topper as a source of proanthocyanidins, plant compounds studied for their antioxidant properties. It is distinct from grape flesh and grape skin, which are the parts most associated with grape toxicity concerns in dogs. The amount used in this topper is very small. However, given that grapes as a whole are generally considered unsuitable for dogs, we recommend speaking to your vet if your dog has any history of kidney issues or known sensitivity before introducing this topper.
